The efforts of young people in Wallonia to refine what should be, and what will be, our technical expertise.
We Walloons are first and foremost technicians.
But every year, too few young technicians graduate from our technical schools, at all levels of education.
The reason is that studies are too difficult, or because there are entire course sections without any equipment, in schools lacking in resources.
Nonetheless, our technicians are among the best in the world, demonstrated by the fact that, with slightly more resources invested in a Wallonia which is progressing towards an industrial plan 4.0, we can turn Wallonia into a country of masterminds.
At V W Automation S.A., we understood right from the start that we needed to have faith in young Walloons.
In this so-called lost generation which is bursting with energy, inventiveness, and desire to move things forward.
In the space of 5 years, our company has recruited no less than 10 highly motivated people who are all younger than 25, and all from Walloon technical schools, ranging from A3 electricians to industrial engineers.
All of them have met our expectations, all of them are motivated by the idea of providing the customers of V W Automations S.A. with outstanding technical expertise and above all the creativity which Wallonia needs so much.
We chose many of the most demanding and stringent disciplines: robotics, automation, machine design, etc., with the high point being concrete mixer plants weighing several hundred tonnes.
We incorporate a horizontal business model in which everyone makes a contribution.
