These innovative solutions Made-In-Wallonia showcased at Vivatech 2024

In a bustling Paris, on the eve of the Olympic Games, the global tech community will converge in May in the French capital at Viva Technology, Europe's leading digital innovation and technology salon. More than 100,000 visitors, investors, startups, and tech giants are expected to showcase the innovations and companies shaping the world of tomorrow. Among behemoths like Google, Meta, or Amazon, along with unicorns and thousands of startups in attendance, Belgian companies will be well represented, showcasing the strength of Belgium's technological and digital ecosystems.

Since 2018, Belgian companies have been developing creative solutions, annually presenting them in Paris at VivaTech. Once again this year, a significant number of Belgian startups will make their mark in Paris at this essential gathering for tech and digital industry firms. Among the Belgian contingent, no fewer than 17 Walloon startups will participate in this event to showcase their latest innovations.

As a leading hub in Europe, Wallonia will leverage existing opportunities within its ecosystems to develop disruptive solutions and technologies, supported notably by its government, which places research and development (R&D) at the core of its economic strategy. The region focuses on its strengths by fostering the clustering of businesses, with the digital sector being one of its areas of excellence.
