Dear all,
I remember the first time that I left Madagascar to travel to Liège in 2015. The discovery and exploration of French-speaking Belgium was undeniably an emotional time. This vivid experience inspired me profoundly.
On strolling through the streets of Liège, determined to find intercultural encounters, I found myself face to face with the great enthusiasts of the ninth art. Positive! Indeed, the Kingdom of Belgium is home of the comic strip!
Being an ambassador for the Madagascar brand and also a young artist myself, I have to admit that Wallonia has largely inspired me in my international artistic projects. It was even on its lands that my passion to rush into art was born.
I am therefore delighted to share with you, dear neighbours in the Wallonia network, my activities as a cartoonist and illustrator. The striking project, still being developed is called L'Imaginarium, an exhibition of drawings and comic strips on environmental and cultural themes that are constantly travelling (Madagascar, Réunion, France and the Comoros). In addition, as a current resident of Cameroon in Central Africa, I plan to show L'Imaginarium in Yaoundé shortly, since I believe that sharing is a value that cultivates peace on this planet.
With the great conviction of allowing Wallonia's residents and all the regions of the world to benefit from it!
Thank you Wallonia.be!
