Internet to increase the purchasing power of Walloons

It's no secret that Wallonia is lagging behind in the digital arena.

However, our region has all the necessary strengths to take full advantage of the benefits of the internet; we have good connections, excellent 3G/4G coverage and inhabitants looking for service.

Now it's the turn of companies and start-ups to play their part and be present on the internet by proposing solutions for Walloons.
This is what I'm trying to achieve with my website pret-simulation.be, a website which allows you to compare the credit offers of the main lenders in Belgium, completely free of charge.

Although the usefulness of this site may seem slight, we believe it is essential. As of July 2017, 6,265,665 Belgians had a consumer credit contract in progress, often a personal loan or a car loan. This nonetheless represents 1 person in every 2.

If you know that the difference between the best and the worst interest rate from different lending organisations can almost be double the amount, a loan comparison can save several thousand euros (for example: you can save €4,400 on a personal loan of €27,700 over 74 months).

Obviously, the aim is not to push Belgians into debt, more and more of whom are affected by repayment difficulties. We therefore try to give them good advice on saving money if they really need a loan, while trying to provide the right information to avoid debt and repayment difficulties.
