As part of the thematic year of tourism "Gourmet Wallonia", 28 breweries and 12 vineyards in Wallonia will open their doors for the 1st edition of the "Discovery Weekend in the Vineyards and Breweries of Wallonia" on 17 & 18 June.

The participating winemakers and brewers will welcome you and show you around their vineyard or brewery, but that's not all, they will also share their profession and their lives with you.

On the menu for the Weekend

• Guided tours of vineyards, fermenting rooms, breweries and facilities
• Free or paying beer or wine tasting
• Machinery exhibitions
• Demonstrations of farming techniques and presentation of the Champagne production process
• Game based on wine aromas in wineries

Many leisure activities will also be available at each site for families and younger family members: food, local produce markets, concerts, games, competitions for children, pony or carriage rides, bouncy castles, quiz about grape varieties, and more.

The Discovery Weekend in the Vineyards and Breweries of Wallonia is organised by the Walloon Agency for the Promotion of Quality Agriculture (APAQ-W) with the collaboration of Wallonia Belgium Tourism (WBT) and in partnership with the Walloon Road Safety Agency (AWSR).
